Autumn Hues, Fall Favorites: A Two-Day Watercolor Workshop

October 31 and November 1
Sierra 2 Center, Sacramento
Course Fee: $180.
The rich bold colors of autumn will inspire the weekend as we explore expressive watercolor.   Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced painter, it’s always good to focus on fundamentals as we hone our direct observation skills with glorious fall still life.  On Saturday, we’ll paint the bounty of the season in still life arrangements with emphasis on color, composition and pattern.  On Sunday we will take a different spin on still life as we learn how to create “one-off” watercolor monotypes with a variety of techniques.   All skill levels are welcome. Students will provide their own art supplies.  Please note: your course fee includes specialty materials needed for monoprinting and participants will be able to keep the acrylic printing plates which I will provide.
